New quakes occurred in New Guinea and the Atlantic Ocean, the U.S. Geological Survey reported. Earthquake shocks with a magnitude of 5.1 points were registered near the northern coast of New Guinea, and 4.8pts quakes were reported in the Atlantic Ocean to the east of the Caribbean, and 2,160 km. from Puerto Rico, and off Sandwich Islands.
