Earthquakes persist across the Pacific and the Atlantic

Strong earthquakes have reportedly occurred recently in the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, the U.S. Geological Survey data said. A 4.7-magnitude quake has been registered today, 01:59 am, Universal Time Coordinated (UTC) near Izu Islands, Japan Region. Another earthquakes with a magnitude of 5.4pts and 5.0pts came Eastern New Guinea Reg, Papua New Guinea at 06:32pm (UTC) and at 11:07pm (UTC) near North Coast Of New Guinea, P.N.G. accordingly.

At 08:50am a 5.1-magnitude earthquake was registered near South Sandwich Islands Region and later that day a 4.6-magnitude quake was felt in Southern California, USA at 2:22pm, the USGS report said.
