Russian ports in the eastern Gulf of Finland are free of ice, icebreaking services over from April 30

Alexander Glukhov, Chief of Navigation Safety Department, Deputy Harbormaster of the seaport Big Port of St. Petersburg in his order (April 26, 2010 N 02-CP-35-p) announced the winter icebreakers services would be over after midnight, April 30th since the approach fairways to the Russian ports in the eastern Gulf of Finland had been cleared of ice, said the statement of St. Petersburg branch of the FSUE RosMorPort.

The Authority of the Big Port of St. Petersburg (Big Port of St. Petersburg, Ust-Luga, Vyborg, Vysotsk) responsible for navigation safety in the harborage has lifted all Ice Restrictions effective from April 26.
