Port Fleet and Labor Union sign a new contract for 3 years

The Authority of Port Fleet CJSC (St. Petersburg) and the Labor Union on behalf of the Company’s employees singed on April 15 a new Labor Contract for the next three years and effective since May 1st this year. According to Stanislav Rudakov, the Chief of the Human Resources Department of Port Fleet the new labor contract includes a much better working condition for the employees as compared to the current Russian labor legislation.

In particular, he said, the article on bonuses was amended in the new contract and the Port Fleet’s employees will receive a larger monthly bonus.  The employees working outside the port and on international lines, as the contract article reads, will be provided with special clothes and special footwear. The labor contract provides the Company will increase by 30% the money it sets aside to ensure free meals for the employees.

As Mr. Rudakov says, the Labor Union members held yesterday a Union’s conference to have discussed again all aspects of the new contract. There have been a number of issues settled: the formation and approval of an ad hoc committee on social insurance and labor disputes, about ensuring the summer recreational camps for children of the Company’s employees, etc.

Port Fleet CJSC was founded in 1997. The Company’s fleet comprises of 39 vessels of various purposes and is capable to provide ranged services for vessels as well at the port of St. Petersburg and elsewhere. Port Fleet has a contract with the Federal State Unitary Enterprise RosMorPort to provide services for vessels, paying environmental charges and located in the harborage of Big Port of St. Petersburg, for ship wastes reception and disposal.
