Earthquakes in the Pacific Ocean region, elsewhere

Earthquakes with magnitude ranging from 4.6 to 4.7 were registered near the Russian Kamchatka Peninsula (at 10:49am UTC) and the Kuril Islands (at 04:49pm, UTC), as well as on Eastern New  Guinea Reg, Papua New Guinea (at 03:27am UTC) in the Libertador O'Higgins, Chile, in the afternoon, the US Geological Survey reports.

 

Earthquakes with magnitude 5.0 were located in Costa Rica after midnight, at 02:05pm in Indonesia and a 5.5-magnitude quake in Myanmar, at 06:01pm (UTC).
