CMA CGM said it opened its newly renovated, deep-water berth in the Iraqi port of Umm Qasr.
The French carrier said the berth, which is 656 feet long and has a 34-foot depth, is dedicated exclusively to its vessels.
CMA CGM provides a weekly service the Umm Qasr port in southern Iraq to Khor Fakkan in the United Arab Emirates, consisting of two vessels with a capacity of 880 20-foot equivalent units apiece.
