Prime Minister Vladimir Putin signed a decree on 26 April (N286) to raise the export duty rate on crude oil from May 1, 2010 from $268.9 to $284 a ton. Export duty on light petroleum products will rise from $193.5 to $203.7 a ton, on heavy oil - from $ 104.2 to $ 109.7 a ton, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports.
Export duty on propane, butane, ethylene, propylene, butylene and butadiene, and other liquefied gases is set at $53 a ton versus $65 a ton as of April 1st.
Zero export duty was set on calcined petroleum coke. Earlier reports said that from December 1, 2009 the zero rate of customs duty was set on oil exports from several of fields in Eastern Siberia.
