Russian Transport Ministry to help the II International Conference "The Future of Russian Ports"

Russian Ministry of Transport will assist in the preparation and holding of the 2nd International Conference "The Future of Russian Ports", part of the 10th International "Transtech-2010" Expo., the organizers of the event said.

The decision was approved at the meeting of the Organizing Committee. Viktor Olersky, the Deputy Minister of Transport was appointed Chairman of the Conference Organizing Committee. The Organizing Committee included Alexander Davydenko, the head of the Russian Transport Ministry’s Federal Agency of Maritime and River Transport, Yuri Molchanov, Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg, Oleg Terekhov, President of the Association of Sea Commercial Ports, Nikolai Smirnov, President of the Association of Shipping Companies, and others.

The Organizing Committee at its meeting has decided to accept the provisional themes and structure of the II International Conference "The Future of Russian Ports”.
