Yang Ming to start a second Taiwan-North China service

Yang Ming Line will from July commence a second Taiwan-North China loop, named TC2, which will bolster its Taiwan-China Express service (TCX) that was started in February 2009.
The TC2 will connect directly the ports of Kaohsiung, Keelung and Taichung to the four Mainland China ports of Ningbo, Shanghai, Xingang and Qingdao.
The TC2 will deploy two 1,500-TEU vessels, the YM Horizon and the YM Hawk.
The TCX will continue to connect these Taiwan ports to Shanghai, Dalian, Xingang, Qingdao and Lianyungang, reports Alphaliner.
The first TC2 sailing is scheduled for July 15 departing from Kaohsiung.
