Customs Union becomes a reality for Russia and Kazakhstan since July 1st, Belorussia hesitates.

Customs Code of the Customs Union has been effective from July 1st in two countries - Russia and Kazakhstan. The accession of Belarus to the Union is still undecided, PortNews reports citing the Federal Customs Service press service.
 
The Belarus parliament is said to have ratified the Customs Union agreement, but still pending President Alexander Lukashenko’s approval.
 
Boris Borodin, acting head of the Baltic Customs said in an interview with PortNews IAA, as the new Code has become effective on the territory of Russia and Kazakhstan, the unresolved issues will be subject to the national legislation.
