Net loss of Primorsk Shipping Company (PMP, PRISCO Corp.) according to Russian Accounting Standards (RAS) in January-September 2011 shrank by 25 times compared with the same period of last year, to RUB 2,017,000, the Company said.
PRISCO’s revenue for the same period increased by 5.7 percent to RUB 89,658,000.
Primorsk Shipping Company specializes in shipping of liquid and bulk cargoes. The Corporation operates a fleet of 19 tankers and 2 bulk carriers of total 1,892,221DWT, largely ice-class ships, including large-capacity vessels equipped for operation in freezing seas. PRISCO provides commercial and technical management, agency services and training of specialists of sea transport and oil/gas producing industry. The Corp. tankers are engaged in Sakhalin offshore projects. In 2010, PRISCO’s cargo traffic rose year-over-year by 8 percent to 18.5 million tons.
