Russian coal exports in January-October 2011 rose by 8.4% compared to the same period of last year, to 88.11 million tons, the Ministry of Energy statistics said.
In October, the commodity shipments grew 0.3% from last year’s figure to 8 million 614 thousand tons.
In Jan-Oct, coal production in the country rose by 3.7% to 271.73 million tons, 249.47 m tons of them were delivered to customers.
