STX OSV wins vessel order to build arctic trawler

Singapore-listed STX OSV has bagged a contract to build an arctic trawler. The vessel for Remøy Fiskeriselskap will be built at STX OSV’s yard in Norway for delivery in the third quarter of 2013. The contract price was not disclosed, Seatrade Asia online reports. “The Rem group is a long-standing client of STX OSV, managing both fishing and offshore vessels through Rem Maritime AS and Remøy Fiskeriselskap AS respectively,” STX OSV.
