Murmansk port’s nine-month profit rises12.3 percent

Net profit of OJSC Murmansk Commercial Seaport for January-September according to Russian Accounting Standards (RAS) rose by 12.3% year-on-year to RUB 278,261,000,

The company's revenue over the same period grew by 4.8% to RUB 2,197,175,000.

Murmansk Commercial Seaport, founded in 1994, ranks forth largest Russian port by volume of handled cargo. The company operates 17 berths with total length of about 3 km. The port is able to accommodate vessels with draft of 15.5 m and length of more than 265 m. In 2010, Murmansk port throughput was 12.2 million tons.
