Very soon, the vessel will head for to the home port of Novorossiysk to be handed over to the customer - the Federal Agency of Maritime and River Transport (Rosmorrechflot).
The vessel will be part of harbor fleet as a buoy tender and an OSRV for laying oil-containment booms during oil spills.
The serial workboats construction is funded through the Federal Program "Development of Civil Marine Equipment" (2009 – 2016).
In 2010, the shipbuilding firm constructed four rescue and oil boom-laying boats of A40-2B project for Rosmorrechflot.
