Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) and Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) are both reported to be looking at a bid for Gaztransport and Technigaz (GTT), Seatrade Asia online reports. The French firm provides membrane containment systems and Reuters reported a bid would be worth $1.3bn quoting unnamed sources. HHI and DSME are said to be looking at separate bids. GTT has three shareholders-- GDF Suez, French oil company Total and US private equity fund Hellman & Friedman.
