Northeast China's Hunchun at the jointure of Russia and North Korea posted a 33.5 per cent growth in import and export cargo volume from overland checkpoints to 210,000 tonnes in the first nine months, reports Xinhua.
The checkpoint's passenger movement grew 41.9 per cent year on year to 410,000 during the same period. The cargo volume comes mostly come through the Quanhe checkpoint, which transited 150,000 tonnes, up 117.4 per cent year on year.
