Seaport in the Troitsa Bay resumes car transshipments

JSC Seaport in the Troitsa Bay recommenced handling of used vehicles imported from Japan. On Jan.30, the Milena delivered 107 vehicles from Japan’s port of Maizuru, the stevedore’s press service said.

The car carrier call marks the beginning of Port Zarubino operations, after a three-year standstill, as a transshipment hub for used Japanese car imports.

Previously, the port was capable of handling up to 3,450 cars a week. Today the port is ready to increase these figures, the report says.

JSC Seaport in the Troitsa Bay is based in the Far East in Troitsa Bay of Posiet and is a short haul for goods transits from China to Japan and South Korea.
