India-based ABG Shipyard won an order to build six offshore vessels for state-owned Shipping Corp of India (SCI), Seatrade Asia online reports. “The order is for six ships, which are 82 tonnes handlers, and each is for $17m,” said D Datar, cfo at ABG. Deliveries are scheduled at two months intervals from the 15th and 25th months from the date of signing the contract. ABG is sitting on a total orderbook of INR160bn ($3.3bn) plus unexecuted orderbook of INR100bn.
