Nuclear icebreaker 50 Years of Victory enters the Gulf of Finland

The nuclear-powered icebreaker "50 Years of Victory" has reached the Gulf of Finland. According to satellite navigation, the vessel is sailing at a speed of 10 knots.


Under the 100-day charter agreement between Atomflot and Rosmorport, the 50 Years of Victory will join diesel-powered icebreakers in the Russian part of the Gulf of Finland to escort oil-laden tankers convoys to / from the port of Primorsk.
