Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) was hit by a 61.6% plunge in fourth quarter net profit, Seatrade Asia reports. Net profit during the last quarter fell to KRW66.3bn ($59.1m) while revenue dropped 10.3% year-on-year to KRW3.19trn.
The South Korean shipbuilder's annual net profit came up to KRW743.2bn, a decline of 0.1% year-on-year. Revenue, however, inched up 1.7% to KRW12.26trn.
