Throughput of SILPORT to grow 21.5 percent in 2012

Cargo traffic at SILPORT is expected to grow by 21.5% compared to 2011’s numbers, to 6 million tons, the Port Authority forecast said.

Port of Sillamäe (SILPORT) is located in the north-eastern Estonia. The port’s operator JSC SILPORT is a joint Russian-Estonian company. In 2011, SILPORT cargo volumes soared 40 percent year-over-year to 4.9 million tons.
