PJSC Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port Group Stevedoring NCSP (JSC "NCSP") has been operating normally as of 08:00 am, Feb. 9th. The Group’s stevedoring companies has resumed mooring, loading / offloading operations, the NCSP Group said on Thursday.
According to NCSP’s Marketing & Sales Deputy CEO Rado Antolovic, by midnight of February 6 the port’s terminals halted loading and mooring operations as hurricane-force wind hit the city of Novorossiysk.
Happily, the stormy weather did not cause any serious incidents in the port: there were no injuries, the equipment was not damaged, the report said. The port’s key facilities were not cut off power supply, as the port utilized its own power generating units.
Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port Group is the largest Russian port operator. The NCSP Group incorporates the following stevedore companies: PJSC Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port, PJSC Novorossiysk Grain Terminal, OJSC Novorossiysk Shipyard, PJSC Fleet of NCSP, OJSC NovorosLesExport, OJSC IPP, Baltic Stevedoring Company Ltd. and PJSC Primorsk Trade Port Ltd. (since 2011). In 2011, cargo throughput of NCSP Group (including PTP) totaled 157 million tons.
50.1% shares of PJSC "NCSP" belongs to Novoport Holding Ltd, beneficiaries owners of which are JSC “Transneft” and Ziyavudin Magomedov (Summa Group). NCSP Group consolidated cargo turnover in 2011 totaled 157 million tons. Consolidated revenue according to IFRS for the nine months of 2011 totaled $782 million and EBITDA of $404 million. NCSP Group combines the following stevedore companies: OJSC Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port, PJSC Primorsk Trade Port (since 2011), PJSC Novorossiysk Grain Terminal, OJSC Novorossiysk Shipyard, PJSC Fleet of NCSP, OJSC NLE, OJSC IPP, and Baltic Stevedoring Company Ltd.
