Work on infrastructure improvements alone will cost over zl.324 million, with the waterfront set to be redesigned, a network of access roads developed, and a new loading and logistics area created.
“In 2014, thanks to these investments, it will be virtually a new port ... all the streets of the port and railroad tracks will be new or upgraded, there will be new space for the loading of containers, trailers for cars, and the waterfront will be redeveloped,” said ZMPG's vice president Walery Tankiewicz.
