Ukraine’s Zaliv Shipyard will build, under the contract with Damen Shipyards Bergum, two outfitted hulls for Platform Supply Vessels of PSV 3300 project, the Ukrainian shipbuilder said.
The shipyard plans to commence the order execution in April this year. The first vessel delivery is scheduled for January 2013, the second - in April 2013.
The shipbuilding firm will perform assembly-welding work as well as outfitting of PSV hulls, namely, insulation, cable laying and installation of main shipboard equipment: diesel - generators, pumps, steering gear, etc.
The Shipyard’s Marketing & Sales CEO Yuri Dovgy, the construction of offshore supply vessels will be the first joint experience of Zaliv and Damen Shipyards Bergum.
Kerch-based Zaliv Shipyard (Crimea, Ukraine) is part of the group of AvtoKrAZ’s affiliated companies. Zaliv Shipyard specializes in the construction of tankers and container ships, repairs of ships of various tonnage and destination. Private Limited Company Forth Asset (UK) owns a 37.94% stake of the shipyard.
