Port St. Petersburg names new Board’s Chairman

On February 24, 2012 Oleg Bukin was elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC "Sea Port St. Petersburg" replacing Interim Chairman Igor Fedorov, the company said.


Igor Fedorov, resigned in connection with his appointment as CEO of T.A. Management, the sole executive body of Sea Port St. Petersburg.


Oleg Bukin was born in 1966. In 1988 he graduated from the Moscow Institute of Management named after S. Ordzhonikidze majoring in organization of transport management. In 2001 Mr. Bukin was appointed CEO of Independent Transport Company LLC. From 2009 to 2012 – he headed T.A. Management. Since early 2012 Oleg Bukin has been CEO of JSC Freight One.


JSC Sea Port St. Petersburg (part of UCL Port, a stevedoring division of the international transport group UCL Holding) is the largest operator, providing services for handling of all types of dry bulk cargoes at Big Port St. Petersburg. Operates modern specialized terminals for handling rolling cargo, imported cars and metals. In 2011, cargo throughput at Sea Port St. Petersburg totaled 7.4 million tons.
