Oil product exports through Vysotsk terminal down 6 percent

Shipments of oil products through the terminal RPK Vysotsk "LUKOIL-II” based in Leningrad region in January-April 2012 dropped 6% year-on-year to 3,360,000 tons, the Port of Vysotsk statistics said.


During the reporting period, the volume of shipment of diesel fuel from the terminal totaled 808,000 tons, of gasoline – 352,000 tons, of fuel oil – 2,201,000 tons.


In 2011, Russia exported through the facility 9,687,600 tons of oil products (209 tankers), or about 20% below 2010’s numbers.


Port of Vysotsk is located in the Leningrad region. There are currently two stevedore companies operating at the port’s terminals: Port Vysotsky LLC and RPK-Vysotsk-Lukoil-II Ltd. In 2011, exports volume passing through the port totaled 13.42 million tons.
