Troy Container Line announces new Chicago to Rotterdam service
Troy Container Line, Ltd., one of the world’s largest NVOCCs, announced the launch of its new service from Chicago to Rotterdam. The direct, 16-day service will begin on Monday, May 21 with a sailing aboard the APL Melbourne V18. Also included are reduced rates to Hungary, Ireland and Prague from the Midwest.
The Chicago to Rotterdam sailing marks the continued expansion of Troy Container Line’s robust export department, and exemplifies the company’s ongoing charge to add more direct services, reduce transit times, and offer clients the best pricing in the industry.
“Competitive pricing and quick transport times have always distinguished Troy Container Line from its competitors,” commented Patricia L. Fitzgerald, COO of Exports. “The Chicago to Rotterdam service will continue this tradition, cutting transit times by seven days and reducing costs by at least 5 percent, which, as always, will be passed onto our clients because of their loyal support. My staff and I look forward to offering yet another efficient, cost-effective shipping solution to our extensive customer base.”
Troy Container Line will ship cargo from any of its 20 warehouses located throughout the United States via the new direct service. The company also has the ability to pick-up from any door location within the United States for LCL cargo.
Having recently celebrated its 28-year anniversary, the Chicago to Rotterdam service demonstrates Troy Container Line’s commitment to providing the ultimate in personalized customer service. The company also announced a new direct consolidation service to Liverpool and Manchester, England earlier this year, and looks forward to continuing to offer enhanced shipping solutions to its customers.
