St. Petersburg Transport Committee: access roads capacity too low
The road accesses, entrance / exit lanes for trucks are not able to ensure the projected by investors freight flows in the historic districts of Big Port St. Petersburg, the City Administration said.
The head of Transportation & Transit Policy Committee of St. Petersburg government Alexei Bakirey told the Maritime Board meeting that creation of outer harbors similar to Port Bronka project could help boost further development of St. Petersburg port.
The new projects are primarily associated with the development of container terminals at the port.
