  Deputy Transport Minister: Bronka project to be included in FTP soon

  

  The project of construction of outer harbor Bronka (St. Petersburg) is expected to be included in the Federal Target Program "Development of Transport System of Russia (2010-2015)" (FTP) in the near future, a Transportation Ministry official said Thursday at a meeting of St. Petersburg Marine Board.

  According to Acting Deputy Transport Minister Viktor Olersky the decision has already received the approval of Acting Economic Development Minister Elvira Nabiullina.

  The Company-Investor Phoenix Chief Operating Officer Alexei Shukletsov, the construction of berths is scheduled for completion by this winter. Then dredging of berths and approach channel should begin. Private investment in the project is estimated at RUB 43.7 bn and RUB 15.2bn will be allocated in the federal budget. The investor has injected in the project some RUB 5bn so far.
