Vladimir Putin appoints his administration, Security Council
Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree on appointment of top officials of the presidential administration and the Security Council, the Kremlin press service said.
The list of new appointees to the presidential administration is as follows:
Sergei Ivanov was appointed Chief of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation;
Nikolai Patrushev was appointed Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation; Rashid Nurgaliyev - Deputy Secretary of the Security Council;
First Deputy Chiefs of Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation:
Vyacheslav Volodin, Alexei Gromov;
Deputy Chiefs of Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation
Anton Vaino, Dmitri Peskov (press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation);
Ex-Transport Minister Igor Levitin was appointed an advisor to the President of the Russian Federation;
Aids to the President of the Russian Federation:
Larissa Brycheva (head of the Presidential State Legal Office), Tatyana Golikova, Elvira Nabiullina, Yuri Trutnev, Yuri Ushakov, Andrey Fursenko, Konstantin Chuichenko (head of the Presidential Control Department, Igor Shchegolev.
President Vladimir Putin has also signed a decree on resignation of several officials of the presidential administration.
