SapuraKencana gets Australia contract
SapuraKencana Petroleum's Australian unit, SC Projects, has nabbed a A$51m ($49.8m) contract from Origin Energy Resources for the Origin Otway Phase 3 Development, the company said, Seatrade Asia online reports.
SC Projects's scope of work will involve project management, installation engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation and pre-commissioning works associated to the development of the Geographe discovery, located approximately 55km offshore Port Campbell, Victoria, Australia.
The contract is for a period of 14 months and is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings and net tangible assets for the financial year ending 2013.
The Origin Otway Phase 3 Development is to be developed and operated by Origin together with its joint venture partners Toyota Tsusho (Australasia) and Benaris International.
