The Chennai Port Trust (ChPT) proposes to develop a dry port and multimodal logistics hub near Sriperumbudur under public-private partnership (PPP) mode. The estimated cost of the project is INR 415 crore, Daily Shipping Times reported.
The detailed Project Report has been prepared and the proposal is at the stage of Request for Qualification (RFQ), the Union Minister for Shipping, Mr. G. K. Vasan, informed Parliament last week.
