Ezion Holdings won a charter contract worth approximately $86.3m over a four-year period to provide a service rig for a national oil major to support its oil and gas activities in Central America, Seatrade Asia online reports.
The service rig is the third from the company to be deployed in the Sonda de Campeche field and is expected to be working by the fourth quarter of 2012 after its refurbishment and upgrading.
“The above mentioned project will be funded through internal resources as well as bank borrowings,” Singapore-listed Ezion said.
