Ulstein's PX105 PSV Bourbon Clear delivered to Bourbon Offshore
Bourbon Clear, the second in a series of four platform supply vessels of PX105 design from ULSTEIN was delivered to Bourbon Offshore from Zhejiang Shipbuilding in China on 31 May, Ulstain's press release said.
The vessel features an overall length of 88.8m, breadth of 19m, DWT of 4250T, and maximum speed of 15.5 knots. Bourbon Clear is designed with a hotel complement with permanent capacity for 25 persons.
The vessel’s cargo system ensures safe and efficient loading and discharging of the vessel. The Multi Application Cargo Solution (MACS) and product tank configurations give a major increase and flexibility in cargo capacity.
The first vessel in the series, Bourbon Front, was delivered from the same yard in September last year.
Ulstein Group is a group of companies that focus on various marine-related industries, but is mainly known for its ship building and ship design activities. The largest unit is Ulstein Verft AS, a shipyard delivering from 3 to 5 offshore supply ships a year.[1] The most recent delivery was the Rem Mist.
