FCS sees no obstacles for bunkering transit vessels at Russian ports

Customs clearance of bunker fuel supplied to transit ships in Russia is carried out smoothly, the Federal Customs Service (FCS) told PortNews.

The agency noted that the problems occur only with those vessels that come specifically for the purchase of bunker fuel due to the difference in prices and at the same time trying to evade customs duties. Currently, the bunker fuel clearance is carried out according to a letter of Russian FCS, № 01-11/64284.
