NYK raises $503m from bond issue

Japanese container line NYK has concluded another bond issue raising JPY40bn ($503m), consisting of JPY20bn of five-year bonds and JPY10bn each of six- and 10-year bonds, Seatrade Asia online reports.

The bonds carry interest of 0.472%, 0.594% and 1.177% respectively, according to manager Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities.

In September 2011, NYK filed a shelf registration enabling it to sell notes worth up to JPY100bn over two years.
