Gazprom set to boost gas exports to 222 bn cbm this year
Russian gas state-owned monopoly Gazprom intends to export at least 222 billion cubic meters of gas in 2012, the company press service said.
Europe remains the long-standing customer of Gazprom, and the company expects revenues of $61bn from gas exports to EU countries. Exports volume there is expected to reach 180bn cbm of gas by 2030.
Gas exports to CIS countries in 2012 are planned at the baseline level of 2011.
The estimated export revenue for January-May totaled $ 25.5 billion.
