Week opens with mixed bunker prices
Rising IFO380 prices in LA / Long Beach today ended 11 consecutive days of losses, Ship & Bunker reports. The week began with mixed bunker price movements today, continuing to move downwards in many markets but with gains seen in a number of key ports.
In Singapore IFO380 prices were up $2.00 to $565.50 per metric tonne (pmt), while in Hong Kong 380 cSt product was down $1.00 to $584.00.
Rotterdam saw IFO380 prices gain $1.00 moving the price to $544.00, and in Gothenburg IFO380 fell $4.00 to $563.50, a new low for the month.
Fujairah 380 cSt grade fuel remained steady at $571.50 pmt and MGO rose $2.50 to $987.50.
In Houston IFO380 ended 4 days of down movements with the price gaining $1.50 and moving to $550.00 pmt.
LA / Long Beach saw gains across all grades with IFO380 rising $4.50 to $567.00, breaking 11 consecutive days of losses.
Crude saw Monday's WTI spot price drop $0.35 to close at $79.01 per barrel.
