Bunker prices lack direction on Tuesday

IFO380 prices in Houston today fell to a new low for the month, Ship & Bunker reports. Tuesday saw mixed bunker price movements in most regions, with some firming seen in major ports in South East Asia and Europe.

In Singapore IFO380 gained $4.00 to bring the price to $569.50, and MGO was up by $3.50 to $808.50 per metric tonne (pmt).

Rotterdam saw IFO380 gain $1.00 moving the price to $545.00, while Gothenburg 380 cSt product moved up $3.00 to $566.50 ending 3 consecutive days of losses.

Fujairah IFO380 moved up $6.00 to $577.50, and MGO gained $4.00 to bring the price to $991.50 pmt.

Houston 380 cSt grade fuel dropped $3.00 to $547.00 just bellow the $548.50 of last Friday and a new low for the month.

LA / Long Beach saw gains across all grades for the second consecutive day this week, with IFO380 gaining $4.50 to $571.50 pmt

Crude made gains on Tuesday with WTI spot prices moving up $0.35, closing at $79.36 per barrel.
