Gazprom should remain state company, CEO says

Gazprom should remain a state-owned company, but it needs private investment, the gas monopoly's CEO Alexey Miller said after the AGM in reply to the question of whether privatization in the gas industry is viable, RBC reports.

Gazprom will continue to play an important role and hold a significant position, Miller said, adding that Gazprom is a national patrimony.
