Upgraded warehousing facilities of dedicated car terminal of Commercial Seaport of Vladivostok (CPV, part of FESCO Transportation Group) took delivery of a new vehicles consignment for Toyota Motor Ltd. - the official Russian importer and distributor of Toyota and Lexus cars, the CPV press service said.
The 183 cars cargo was delivered from Japanese port of Nagoya by Ro-Ro ship and unloaded at the car terminals’ warehouse. Then the autos will be distributed through the dealer’s network of the Far Eastern region.
CPV and Toyota Motor Ltd. plan to boost by the end of 2012 shipment of new imported cars.
CPV expects growth in the share of new cars in the total volume of vehicles imports from 18% (2011’s figure) to 25%.
