Wilhelmsen Ship Services (WSS) has restructured its business in Asia, including the appointment of new heads for Japan and China, Seatrade Asia online reports.
As part of the restructure WSS has appointed Yoshihiro Iizuka as general manager for Japan and Jason Chew as general manager for China. Iizuka joins WSS from iSika Ltd in Japan, while Chew joined WSS in 2010 as area finance manager for Northeast Asia.
Meanwhile Graham Hunter, former business director marine chemicals, will take up position as technical sales director based in Singapore.
“We are optimising our sales structure and investing in competence development to take advantage of opportunities in emerging market segments such as offshore and traders and charterers,” said Bjorn Tonsberg, regional vice president for WSS.
