Daewoo Shipbuilding announces $438m bond issue

Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) announced the issuance of KRW500bn ($437.5m) worth of bonds in two separate batches, Seatrade Asia online reports.

The larger KRW300bn bonds will carry a tenor of five years while the smaller KRW200bn bonds will be over three years.

Financial institutions Mirae Asset Securities, Korea Investment & Securities, Shinhan Investment, Hana Daetoo Securities, Dongbu Securities, Shinyoung Securities and Kiwoom Securities are all involved in the bonds issue.
