The icebreaker Krasin owned by Far East Shipping Company (FESCO, a shipping division of FESCO Group) on July 14 will set sail from the home port of Vladivostok to the east area of the Arctic for escorting merchant ships to / from the ports and terminals in northern Chukotka and Yakutia, the Group press release said. The FESCO’s icebreaker will operate under the contract with the Federal Agency of Maritime and River Transport.
Besides, FESCO owned M.V. Vasiliy Burkhanov on July 14 will leave the port of Nakhodka with a general cargo and containers on board to head for the port of Pevek. Another voyage of this ship is scheduled for September this year.
Also, the MV Captain Sergiyevsky serving FESCO Anadyr Direct Line (FADL) service will make call at the port of Pevek. The ship’s departure from Vladivostok is scheduled for August 8, 2012.
