The intelligence services of NATO have increased control over the movement of the Russian Navy a warships group, which are heading for the Atlantic and the Mediterranean Sea, RIA Novosti reports quoting a senior source in the Russian Defense Ministry.
"NATO’s aircrafts “Orion” have increased by several times reconnaissance flights over the area where the Russian warships are now. Russian sailors also have reported increased electronic surveillance," the source said.
The source believes that as the Russian ships advance to the southern latitudes the intensity of the NATO’s actions against the ships group will increase. Last week, some media reported that the Russian warships carry military equipment repaired in Russia for Syria. Rosoboronexport has categorically denied the information, noting that such equipment was on board of the M/V Alaed, which has her insurance cancelled.
