Taiwan's main seaport of Kaohsiung saw a slowdown in container throughput volumes in June, Seatrade Asia online reports.
The Taiwanese port handled 787,747 teu of boxes last month, showing a 9% year-on-year decrease and a 0.9% dip month-on-month, according to figures from Taiwan International Ports Corporation.
In the first six months of this year, Kaohsiung port moved a total of 4.86m teu, a marginal increase from 4.79m teu seen in the same period of 2011.
