Russia’s Federation Council approves inland waterways bill

The Federation Council of Federal Assembly of Russia has approved a draft law "On Amendments to certain legislative acts of the Russian Federation" (the improvement of public administration of inland waterways, as well as on improvement of the effectiveness of enforcement activities for safe inland shipping). The upper house of the Russian parliament passed the bill by 147 votes.
