The Russian government commission has approved of a list of strategic enterprises entitled to government support, Economic Development Minister Elvira Nabiullina said on Tuesday according to Itar-Tass.
“There are over 250 names on the list,” Nabiullina said after a meeting of the government’s commission for raising the stability of the Russian economy.
“These days we are considering selection criteria and a list of system-forming organizations, as well as the rules of working with them,” Nabiullina said. “’There are over 250 enterprises in question. We are in the process of final coordination. Originally, we had two lists – one of backbone industries whole cities rely on, and the other – an industries-based one. On Wednesday it will be available on the government’ s web site.”

“The list is not a guarantee they will be receiving state assistance. That will be granted, if the enterprise really needs it,” Nabiullina explained.
“Within a week’s time we together with regions shall finalize a list of enterprises at the regional level,” she said.
As it was reported earlier, the list includes a number of transport companies: Far Eastern Transport Group, Far-Eastern Shipping, Sovcomflot, Primorsk Shipping Corporation, Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port, Sea Port of Saint Petersburg, Transneft, Russian Railways, RosMorPort FSUE, Rostov Port, Moscow River Shipping Company, North Western Shipping Company, Lena United River Shipping Company, Ob-Irtysh River Shipping Company, Volga Shipping, Novaya perevozochnaya kompaniya, Autoline Group, Treti Park Sankt-Peterburg, SovTransAvto Group, MosAvtoTrans. Besides, the list includes shipbuilding assets of United Shipbuilding Corporation (Severnaya Verf and Baltiysky Zavod), SDS-Mash Group (Altaywagon), MNP Group (Krasnoye Sormovo) and the Concern of Medium and Small Tonnage Shipbuilding (Amur Shipyard).
