In January-February 2009, Caspian Pipeline Consortium increased oil export via Yuzhnaya Ozereika-2 terminal (port Novorossiysk) by 19.76%, year-on-year, to 5.72 million tonnes including 2.71 million tonnes in February 09 (+21.4%), Yuga.Ru reports.
CPC owns Tengiz-Novorossiysk pipeline dedicated to transporting oil from the Tengiz oil field in western Kazakhstan to Russia's Black Sea coast (1,580 kilometers long). In 2008, it transported 31.47 million tonnes of oil. The project’s design capacity is 67 million tonnes of oil.
